1966 Chevelle SS
Original Interior
When this '66 was ordered new, it's apparent that the owner wanted to do one thing... go fast in a straight line! No power brakes, no power steering, no gauges and no tach.
As it sits today, the interior is in very original condition other than the carpet being faded.
The seat covers and door panels are in remarkably good condition for being 50 years old. The driver's seat does have a slight separation at the seam in the middle of the seat which can be repaired and the door panels are missing some of the chrome leaf due to normal wear and tear.
I do have the original AM radio which will be reinstalled in place the aftermarket unit that is in place now. The only other plans, other than replacing the carpet will be installing a original 5500 RPM Knee Knocker Tach!
Don't see many original radio's with serial/part number sticker still attached.
Front door panels are in great shape!
Standard seat belt buckles need some help
Headliner is still looking great.
Yep, that's right... 42,841.9 original miles
Bucket seat backs look amazing
Back seat is in fantastic shape
Original center console with "later style" shifter boot and Muncie shifter. Do you know the difference from the "early style"?
