1969 CHEVELLE SS
Interior Upgrades
I have plans to upgrade the mostly original interior in three stages. First the current Hurst shifter handle and ball will be swapped out for correct reproductions of both the Muncie handle and black ball which is correct for a bucket seat, non console car. Second stage will be changing the current fuel gauge/idiot lights for an original 5500 RPM tach and gauge cluster along with hooking up the factory AM radio. The installation of the factory tach and gauges will also require changes to the factory wiring harness. The last change which is scheduled for the winter of 2015, will be to replace all the seat covers, seat foam, door panels and arm rests. The seat covers are circa 1992 and the balance of the interior is original. The carpet and head liner were replaced after the body restoration in 2009.
